got big standard triple room with large storage when arrived, really enjoyed that. the staff were super friendly and exceptionally kind up until the day we left. it was in a very central setting in the geothermal stream in the owner's steam oven.

I always come back to this onsen hotel. The staff returned my forgotten documents on my first stay 🙏. It has Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, a TV room, and a shared kitchen. Perfect for my city break!

A spacious room with a nice view of the city within a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

The standard twin room had central heating and an iron. I greatly enjoyed the comfortable decor. - the very central location was incredible, being so close to local restaurants and the surrounding area.

the location was perfect, surrounded by natural springs and steaming streets. the innkeeper was incredibly helpful and friendly, showing us places to visit and even letting our son walk her dog. We appreciated the early check-in, the warm breakfast of eggs and sweet potatoes left at our door, and the ride to the station for our departure. the room was spacious and comfortable, and the hostess was always available to provide suggestions and directions. We felt welcomed by the friendly locals in Kannawa, making us feel like part of the community.

The owners were really nice and friendly, they made us feel welcome right away. They gave us lots of helpful advice and tips on places to visit and things to do in the area. We also got discounts on local baths, which was a nice bonus. the location was great, right in the heart of the onsen district with lots of options to choose from. Plus, the nearby "hells of Beppu" were really interesting to visit.

The house was still under construction, which made it feel a bit chaotic and messy. the kitchen didn't look very inviting, so we didn't use it.

I had a wonderful stay at Hiromiya in the Kannawa hot springs district. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding me to nearby attractions and offering discounts on popular onsens. The room was spacious and comfortable, with traditional futons and tatami mats. The owner even steamed breakfast in the geothermal stream, adding a unique touch to my stay. it was a homey and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Hiromiya to anyone visiting Beppu.

The rooms were awesome! They had air conditioning and free WiFi, which was a big plus for me. The shared bathrooms were clean and I never had to wait too long to use them. The cozy bed, fresh bed linen, and fluffy towels made me feel so comfortable. And the elegant furniture added a touch of sophistication to the room. I just loved everything about my stay!

Honestly, I can't think of anything that I didn't like. But hey, that's just my personal opinion, others might have different preferences!

It was really fun pretending to be a local at Hiromiya Toji Stay. I made so many new friends from all over Japan who were staying for days, weeks, or even months. It's like a mini community!

It's a shame that they don't offer a royal throne in the bathroom. I had to sit on a regular old toilet like a commoner.

As youngsters, we loved the spacious and comfortable rooms, the nearby 'hells of Beppu', and the large selection of onsens to choose from. the owner, Miho, was super helpful and fun, providing us with lots of information on where to go. the hostel also had a small private onsen and a full-scale onsen right next door, perfect for relaxation after a long day of exploring.

The warm hospitality at this delightful place is second to none. The private onsen is a peaceful retreat. And let's not forget the breathtaking city views. Simply exquisite.
